Services in detail

Collection services
We will pursue debtors via our subsidiary Midwest Regional Collections.
Business and license verification
We verify the existence of the company, its physical address, number of years in business, and its standing with the state and Better Business Bureau. The physical address and company existence can be critical to determining whether the business is a fly-by-night company or a stable entity.
Certification/licensing
The vast number of companies and associations providing various types of certificate and license means that it takes considerable expertise and experience to confirm certification and licensing. We have that experise and experience.
Civil history (relevant law suits)
We obtain law suit records in the counties and/or states in which the applicant has resided or which the business operates. If found, we provide you with details on the party that sued, the date, and the judgment.
Credit history
A full credit summary is an essential tool used by our investigators to find that crucial, missing info. We decipher the information and present it to you in an easy to understand format.
  • Rental screening: Authorization is required, and appropriate language is usually included on the application for occupancy.
  • Employee screening: An authorization form is required by law. AAA Screening provides this at no charge to you.
  • Contractor screening: An authorization form is not required to obtain credit records on a business.
Criminal detail
We identify criminal detail from counties and/or states in which the applicant has resided. Researching this kind of detail on your own or using a database service is all but impossible. There is no a nationwide system accessible to the public (only law enforcement agencies have access), but AAA Screening has access to a complex network of county and state courts to search for records. Each county has jurisdiction over its own information, which means identifiers, number of years available, and terminology varies.
Customer references
We contact three of the most recent customers and ask appropriate questions to determine the quality and dependability of a contractor's performance. We aren’t afraid to ask the difficult questions, and our expertise helps us see through cover stories.
Driving records
An applicant's driving record is essential for prospective employees who will be driving or travelling and using rental cars on company time. The availability of driving records to the public is constantly changing state by state; we keep up with these changes so you don't have to. (An authorization is required by law and provided by AAA Screening at no additional charge.)
Education authentication
We investigate collegiate and graduate degrees to ascertain the highest degree obtained. If the highest degree a prospective employee has listed was not received, we will verify the next degree listed.
Employment history
Recommended for pre-employment screening. We not only verify the employment history your applicant listed on the application but also positions our investigators may find that were not documented by your applicant. We verify start and end dates, position, salary, reason for termination, and eligibility for re-hire, and we discuss performance and attendance.
Employment verification
Recommended for rental screening. We verify current employment, position, full/part-time status, and income. Many national companies are currently using services that charge for employment verification. In those cases we provide information about the documents you should obtain to be confident the applicant is employed.
Rental references
We obtain rental references and history for the past three to four years, depending on availability. We also investigate all addresses during that time frame that may not have been claimed by the applicant. We investigate management/ownership and call to obtain rental references, filling the gaps and completing the profile of the applicant.
Summary and suggestions
An easy-to-read overview of the applicant’s positives and negatives, items to consider, and documents to obtain for an exhaustive evaluation of the contractor.
