Frequently Asked Questions
How is your service better than other services?
AAA Screening Service is not an automated service or a searchable database. Real people review and validate information using up to twenty-six checkpoints, providing you with verified results in an easy-to-read format. We are even able to obtain information that the applicant has left off the application. AAA Screening Service provides a more complete picture than automated services that use databases (many of them outdated) to save time.
Do you have monthly fees?
We do not have any standard monthly fees; you pay only for what you order.
How do I sign up?
Request a quote on-line, and we'll get back with you within 4 hours.
How long will it take after registering before I can send our first application?
In most cases your account will be activated immediately. We tell most clients to send in any applications with their membership paperwork.
What kind of turnaround can I expect after sending an application?
We provide same day/next day service. Reports are returned within 2-4 hours or 24 to 48 hours.
How do I submit applications?
Fax the application to 816-436-2968 or 800-551-5709.
Email the application to Request@AAAscreening.com.
Provide the applicant with the URL to complete the online application.
Can applicants complete the application online?
Yes. AAA Screening offers an online application. You can generate a URL for the applicant at https://aaascr.sslcert19.com/rental/client-url-generator.php
At this site you will enter your AAA Screening Account Name, Property Name, Leasing Agent Name and Application Fee and generate a URL to send to the applicant.
What are the benefits of the online application?
You can send an application to an individual who is out of town or who contacted you via phone or email.
The applicant can pay the application fee with a credit or debit card.
It is paperless.
What happens after my applicant completes the online application?
A copy of the application is emailed or faxed to you for your records.
If it was provided, the applicant’s credit/debit card is charged and the credit applied to your account.
AAA Screening begins to process the application and you will receive your report within 24 hours.
What do I need the applicant to sign the application for occupancy?
The answer depends which kind of screening you're doing; we'll provide the forms at no charge either way:
Rental screening
If you are obtaining credit history, a credit authorization is required by law and this language should be included on the application for occupancy. We recommend the use of AAA Screening’s forms and provide this form at no charge.
Employee screening
If you are obtaining credit history, a credit authorization is required by law and must be on a separate, stand-alone form. AAA Screening Service will provide this form at no charge. A completed and signed application for employment should be faxed with the credit authorization.
